As every year, we look forward to meeting our clients at SACROEXPO, an international exhibition of church construction and equipment, religious art and devotional objects, which has been gathering the entire sacral industry in Kielce for more than 20 years.
It is the biggest event of its kind in Poland. Last year's meeting of the religious industry was attended by 172 companies from 8 countries, and the exhibition center in Kiel was visited by 2,500 guests.
During the SACROEXPO exhibition, products and services related to the daily functioning of churches and places of worship were presented. These are also cultural events: concerts, exhibitions and meetings with famous personalities from the world of culture and art. For years, the exhibition served as a bridge between the world of art and business, as well as parish councils and managers of sacred and monastic buildings.
In addition, the Per Artem ad Deum gala has been organized alongside the SacroExpo Fair for more than 15 years, during which awards are given to prominent artists for their work in the development of culture and art. Kielce Exhibition Center has already appreciated 30 winners, including Ennio Morricone, Krzysztof Zanussi, Krzysztof Penderecki, Antonina Krzysztoń, Wojciech Kilar and Arvo Pärt. This year's recipient of the Per Artem Ad Deum medal of the Pontifical Council for Culture was the distinguished Italian director Giuseppe Tornatore.
An additional attraction was prepared for us by the Diocesan Museum in Kielce and the Prima Porta Antiques Gallery. It is a unique Ars Eucharistica exhibition, which will present works of goldsmith's art that were used for the Eucharist, as well as artifacts related to the Passion of the Lord.
